As an art educator based in Sussex, my approach is diverse and inclusive, designed to cater to a range of learning preferences and settings. I take pride in offering various levels and aspects of teaching art, with a focus on the enriching realms of Drawing and Painting.
One-to-one
For those seeking personalised attention and a tailored learning experience, I provide one-to-one art teaching sessions. Through personalised guidance and feedback, students can unlock their creative potential and refine their skills in a supportive environment, whether at the students own home or plein air (season permitting!)
Small and larger groups
In addition to one-to-one sessions, I extend my art teaching to small and larger groups. This approach is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative and social learning atmosphere. Small groups allow for interactive discussions, constructive critiques, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. On the other hand, larger groups provide a communal space for shared inspiration. I am happy to work within a teaching organisations own set curriculum or suggest my own.
Whether you are a beginner seeking foundational skills or an improver artist looking to refine your craft, my art teaching methodology is adaptable to different skill levels. I cover various aspects of drawing and painting, including techniques for a wide selection of mediums. My goal is to not only impart technical proficiency but also to nurture each individual’s unique artistic voice.
In the realm of art, diversity is key, and my commitment to offering different teaching levels and formats reflects this philosophy. Regardless of the setting, my aim is to inspire, guide, and empower individuals on their artistic journey, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the transformative power of visual expression.
